EA2 is a low alloy steel SAW wire containing 0.5% molybdenum designed for welding 1/2% Mo steels and low alloy steels used in high-temperature and pressure service. It produces smooth, clean weld beads with excellent mechanical properties, good impact strength, and resistance to creep and oxidation at elevated temperatures. The wire offers stable arc characteristics and consistent metallurgical quality when used with appropriate fluxes.

Applications: 

Used in the fabrication of pressure vessels, boilers, and piping systems operating at elevated temperatures, such as in power plants, refineries, and petrochemical units. Suitable for 1/2% Mo and C-Mo steels.

EA4 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy SAW wire developed for welding 1% Ni–0.5% Mo steels and other low alloy steels requiring enhanced impact toughness and high-temperature strength. It produces crack-resistant, tough weld deposits with good creep resistance and superior notch toughness at both ambient and sub-zero temperatures.

Applications: 

Ideal for pressure vessels, boilers, pipelines, and storage tanks used in low-temperature and high-pressure services. Commonly used in refinery equipment and chemical process piping requiring high weld metal strength and ductility.

EB2

EB2 is a Cr-Mo alloy steel SAW wire containing 1.25% chromium and 0.5% molybdenum, designed for welding 1.25Cr–0.5Mo steels used in high-temperature service. It offers excellent mechanical properties, creep resistance, and oxidation resistance under prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures. The wire produces sound, tough weld deposits with good crack resistance and smooth bead appearance.

Applications: 

Widely used in power generation boilers, refineries, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers, as well as high-temperature piping systems handling steam and hot gases. Ideal for 1.25Cr–0.5Mo steels in creep-resistant applications.
