Nickel Alloy Electrodes - (SMAW)

INCI NI-1

NI-1

AWS A5.11 ENI-1
EN ISO 14172 E NI 2061

NI-1 is a nickel-based electrode designed primarily for welding gray cast iron. The pure nickel deposit provides excellent machinability, good ductility, and high resistance to cracking. The electrode produces a smooth, stable arc, low spatter, and easily removable slag, ensuring clean welds even on aged or contaminated castings.

Applications:

NI-1 is typically used for repairing cracks and fractures in gray cast iron, pump housings, engine blocks, machine bases, and gearbox casings. It is also suitable for joining cast iron to mild or low alloy steels.

INCI NICU-7

NICU-7

AWS A5.11 ENICU-7
EN ISO 14172 E NI 4060

NICU-7 is a nickel-copper alloy electrode (Monel type) designed for welding nickel-copper alloys (UNS N04400 / N04405) and dissimilar joints between nickel-copper alloys and steels. The weld metal offers excellent resistance to sea water, acids, and alkalis, along with good mechanical strength and toughness.

Applications:

NICU-7 is typically used for shipbuilding, marine engineering, desalination plants, and chemical process equipment, as well as joining Monel to carbon steel or copper-nickel alloys.

INCI NICRFE-2

NICRFE-2

AWS A5.11 ENICRFE-2
EN ISO 14172 E NI 6133

NICRFE-2 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy electrode (Inconel type) designed for welding Inconel 600, 601, and similar Ni-Cr-Fe alloys. It provides excellent oxidation and scaling resistance up to 1000°C and maintains high tensile strength and ductility under thermal cycling.

Applications:

NICRFE-2 is typically used for furnace components, heat exchangers, gas turbine parts, and chemical process plant equipment, as well as for joining dissimilar metals like stainless steels to nickel alloys.

INCI NICRFE-3

NICRFE-3

AWS A5.11 ENICRFE-3
EN ISO 14172 E NI 6182

NICRFE-3 is a nickel-chromium-iron electrode developed for welding Inconel 625, 601, and 690 alloys. The deposited weld metal has superior strength, excellent resistance to oxidation and scaling, and outstanding resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking.

Applications:

NICRFE-3 is typically used in chemical and petrochemical plants, power generation, offshore structures, and nuclear industry applications, particularly for dissimilar metal joints between nickel alloys and stainless steels.

INCI NICRMO-3

NICRMO-3

AWS A5.11 ENICRMO-3
EN ISO 14172 E NI 6625

NICRMO-3 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum electrode (Inconel 625 type) designed for welding nickel alloys, Inconel 625, Incoloy 825, and similar corrosion-resistant materials. It provides exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking in oxidizing and reducing environments.

Applications:

NICRMO-3 is typically used in chemical process equipment, marine environments, pollution control systems, and power generation components exposed to aggressive acidic or chloride-rich conditions.

INCI NICRMO-4

NICRMO-4

AWS A5.11 ENICRMO-12
EN ISO 14172 E NI 6276

NICRMO-4 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten electrode used for welding Hastelloy C276 and similar Ni-Mo-Cr alloys. The weld metal offers excellent resistance to strong oxidizing agents, acids, and chlorides, maintaining superior mechanical properties at elevated temperatures.

Applications:

NICRMO-4 is typically used for chemical and petrochemical reactors, acid production plants, marine exhaust systems, and equipment handling aggressive industrial chemicals such as chlorides, sulfides, and fluorides.
