ER80S-G is a low alloy steel solid wire designed for Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MAG) of high strength and low alloy steels. It provides excellent arc stability, low spatter, and smooth bead appearance with good mechanical properties. The weld metal exhibits high tensile strength and good toughness, making it suitable for applications requiring 80,000 psi (550 MPa) minimum tensile strength.

This wire can be used with COâ‚‚ or Argon/COâ‚‚ mixed shielding gases, offering superior operator appeal and weld bead quality.

This wire offers smooth arc characteristics, low spatter, and superior bead shape, making it suitable for both manual and robotic welding applications with COâ‚‚ or Argon/COâ‚‚ gas mixtures.
