E309T1-1 is a self-shielded, open arc stainless steel flux-cored wire designed for welding dissimilar metals such as stainless steel to carbon or low alloy steels. It provides a stable arc, smooth bead appearance, and excellent slag removal, producing welds with high tensile strength and superior corrosion resistance. The deposited weld metal exhibits good crack resistance and oxidation stability at elevated temperatures.
Applications:
E309T1-1 is commonly used in the fabrication and maintenance of chemical equipment, power plant components, and heat-resistant structures where joining stainless steel to carbon steel is required. AWS/SFA A5.22 E 309 T0-3
​E309T0-3 is a self-shielded flux-cored wire formulated for welding 309 stainless steel and dissimilar combinations of stainless and carbon steels. It offers excellent arc stability, low spatter, and smooth bead appearance, even in outdoor or windy conditions where gas shielding is impractical. The weld metal contains 23% chromium and 13% nickel, providing superior corrosion and oxidation resistance.
Applications:
E309T0-3 is widely used for on-site structural fabrication, maintenance, and repair of chemical plants, pipelines, and refinery equipment where gas-shielded welding is not feasible. It is ideal for buffer layer deposits and joining dissimilar steels that demand both strength and corrosion protection.

E312T0-3 is a self-shielded flux-cored stainless wire designed for welding difficult-to-weld steels and dissimilar metals. The high alloy content of chromium and nickel imparts excellent crack resistance, high tensile strength, and outstanding corrosion and heat resistance. It provides a smooth, uniform weld bead with minimal spatter and easy slag removal.
Applications:
E312T0-3 is used for maintenance and repair welding, tool and die steels, buffer layers, and joining dissimilar alloys such as stainless to carbon steel or high manganese steels. It is especially suitable for outdoor field welding, machinery repair, and construction work where gas shielding is not available and high weld integrity is required.
